My Favourite Breed is “Stray” Adopt Indie Dogs Tshirt (for Women)

Breeding & buying pets is a growing concern in India. Many people choose to “purchase” Western breed dogs & cats who are actually not suited for our climate, but are also inbred in poor conditions, which give them heriditary diseases like hip displasia & breathing issues.

The animals are treated more as play things, fads, and trends for social media rather than living beings, which has led to a high rate of abandonment.

Meanwhile, the stray dog population continues to grow unchecked because of lack of initiative from population control (sterilization) government authorities in metropolitan cities. This has led to an explosion in the number of accidents, biting incidents, and general conflict caused between human residents & the innocent animals who have nowhere else to go.

The least we can do is create awarness about these problems, and urge people to bring a homeless animal into their hearts & families. Adoption is the one of the simple ways in which we can resolve the problem, as it means one less hungry & vulnerable animal on the street.

Stray dogs are actually healthier, stronger in built, more resilient to diseases, and also live longer than breeds like Chow, Golden Retriever, or Husky!
